Elyse Miller is a recent graduate of Howard University, receiving her BFA in Theatre Arts from the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts. A proud DC native, her credits include serving as Assistant Director for Shakespeare Theatre Company’s staged reading of In the Blood by Suzan-Lori Parks; Stage Manager and Assistant Stage Manager for Theatre Alliance’s production of Look Both Ways at the Kennedy Center (2023), directed by Raymond O. Caldwell; and Assistant Stage Manager for The Atlas Theatre’s musical It Is What It Is (2023), directed by Sandi Holloway, in which she also performed as Ms. Horne.
She made her acting debut in Howard University’s fall production of Big White Fog by Theodore Ward in the Ira Aldridge Theatre, playing Wanda Mason. Most recently, she appeared as Nug in The Pit by Lenox Kamara, produced by Theatre Prometheus during the Firecracker Festival.
Elyse is also an alumna of the City at Peace theatre program at Atlas Theatre and the British American Drama Academy (BADA) at the University of Oxford.
